Lake Effect Kids was made out of a pure desire to have a orderly place to speak of a great band. I've made my rounds many times, but no place that I felt comfortable stuck with me. No place were we could talk about the MUSIC, without worry of haters/spamers/or other users in general. Lake Effect is that forum now. I run a clean, fun forum were we are ALL accepted, and to uphold this, I've created forum guidelines, that all users are to follow.

-Respect... Yea you heard it before, but its all so very important. Everyone is different, with different views and beliefs, we are to understand and respect that. I understand that misunderstandings, clashes will happen (its the internet, hey), but we do NOT tolerate obscene, hostile, racist, sexist, homophobic and otherwise abusive language. Peace.... its my favorite word in the world.
-Do not spam (post the same thing over and over again), post images or links to things that may be deemed offensive or sexually explicit (ya nasties), post unreasonably big images, or signatures.
- I love you guys, but I swear if I hear one more person talk about Pete's genitals... No deep personal life talk. No rumor talk, and no gossip. this is a forum about their MUSIC and side projects. Not "ZOMG PeTe looks so FIIIION!". If you find someone attractive, express yourself in a mature manner, but we do not tolerate fangirlism.
- yo no speaky other languages. Any posts that contain words that I do not understand will be deleted, or edited. To moderate, I need to know what your saying. This INCLUDES freaky internet slang.
-Threats, harassment and stalking are not only illegal, but wrong. Do not bully or gang up on another users. That's just plain not nice. If you feel another member is doing any of the above, notify me, or a mod.
WARNING: Breaking of any of these rules can lead to banning or the deletion of your accounts. No one likes doing any of those things, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, but if we have to, we will to up hold the peace of the forum. I, and the mods reserve the right to delete ANY posts we feel are unfit for this board.
BEFORE POSTING A THREAD..
Make sure its in the right place - ever heard the saying there's a time and a place for everything? have a random moment, go to the Randomly Random Thread. Make sure there isn't another one just like it out already - utilize the search bar... it is your friend.
Make sure the thread title is valid - "check this out" is not a good title, "The Believers Never Die Tour - Orlando, FL" is a good title.
